well i know you are all absolutely DYING to know what i've been up to and unfortunately i haven't been able to start a blog until now...my computer crashed last thursday so i've been cut off from everything. HOWEVER, a cute old irish engineer from dell came to my apartment today and replaced the motherboard so all is well.
galway is amazing. it's such a cute european city and i loooove the accents! they make my "american accent" sound so uncultured. anyway, we arrived safe and sound and with no problems whatsoever. mollie and i traveled with 2 friends of ours, julianna and charlotte - you will be hearing a lot about them.
we were awake for about 31 hours straight on the first day (days?) when we made the brilliant decision to go out on the town. so we found a club and naturally rocked it...we actually had a great time and needless to say, all slept very well that night. the next few days pretty much consisted of going into town while trying not to get hit by the crazy irish drivers (who drive so fast and don't stop for pedestrians AND drive on the wrong side of the road!) and exploring and trying to find the cheapest stores possible because everything is SOOO EXPENSIVE. especially alcohol, which reeeeeeally stinks.
we've met a lot of kids from different american schools, as well as a bunch of irish kids. i have 3 roommates who are all irish, and they're so great! gillian and alan are in their 4th year, and eimear is in her 3rd year. we all get along really well, so i'm looking forward to the year!
ok well i don't have much else to say and i know you're all dying to see pics so here you go!

Hi Sharon, I love your blog, especially its very clever name. A triple play on words.
I think the cute old Irish technician forgot to unstick the shift key, though ;-)
